An award-winning spa in San Franciscio’s Presidio for over 20 years.
Good care grounded in presence, guided by clarity.
We design personalized treatment pathways — organized around Regulation, Recovery, and Longevity — because the right care depends on where you are, not just what sounds good. A body that needs to settle is different from one rebuilding after effort. A body investing in its future is different from both.
Through expert practitioners and integrative modalities — massage therapy, acupuncture, esthetics, HydraFacial, gua sha, and lymphatic work — we create the conditions for care that works. Not care that relaxes you for an hour. Care that changes how you feel in your body, and how you stay well inside your life.
SenSpa was founded in the Presidio in 2004 by David Spencer, whose personal journey toward healing and wellness shaped the heart of the practice. His approach was simple but enduring: care should be grounded in real understanding, guided by experience, and built to support the body over time—not just in a single moment.
Today, that same philosophy carries forward. With a shared belief in thoughtful, results-driven care, we continue to build on SenSpa’s legacy. Evolving the practice to meet the needs of today’s clients while staying true to what has always set it apart: genuine connection, expert care, and a long-term view of wellbeing.
The most effective sessions aren’t the ones you book in crisis. They’re the ones that make crises less frequent. SenSpa is built for people who think about their wellbeing as a long-term investment, and want a practice that thinks that way too.
Your session begins with a question: what’s happening in your body right now? We listen to what you tell us and to what your body shows us, then guide care with intention, not assumptions.
Care is more effective when the nervous system is ready to receive it. We design every session around your capacity to arrive, to step out of the noise of the day and into contact with what your body is actually experiencing. That’s not a soft idea. It’s a clinical one.
High standards aren’t a policy here. They’re a practice. Every practitioner is held to the same standard of skill and attention, your first visit or your hundredth. Consistency is one of the most meaningful things we offer.
